Sometimes the unexpected pivots are better than the original plans…. This couples photoshoot was originally supposed to take place at one of Savannah’s most historical sites: Bonaventure Cemetery. I had this vision to take photos among the rows of azaleas at the cemetery and I had Oneli wear a magenta dress to coordinate with the location. Our shoot was scheduled for 6pm, and at 4pm I was eating lunch in downtown Savannah when Alex texted me saying: “you know this place closes at 5pm right….”
I had no idea. It honestly wasn’t even a thought that crossed my mind. I knew we would have to change the plans so my friend Grace and I got in the car and started driving around the area, looking for alternative spots, random parks, etc.
The vision all along was to capture the beautiful spanish moss that makes Savannah, Savannah. After 30 minutes of driving around, we found this beautiful neighborhood with old oak trees and so much moss!!! The houses in the neighborhood were stunning and full of so much character. Seriously…. walking through the streets felt like a movie.
